Ask ATL, TTL, GTMC and Juapong Textiles. Even GTP when pressed have imported from China!
Ask GRA custom division how much duty is charged for importing 20 footer container today? When journalist perform their duty well it is signed properly, when it is signed as business day please do due deligence n produce a better job. Give us a break n tell the TRUTH

TTL chinese company could not do business due to high cost of production, the cause of textile industry's downfall. Give the citizens choice, how many prospective young men ready to marry can afford the cost of 6 half pieces n 2 full pieces as part of the bride price when the imported textile can bail them out.
Lest we overlook! watch the people who are wearing African print the GTP fades faster. Anyway knowingly or not majority of us are wearing the imported Textile and no hospital has reported of any skin cancer due to that.

Couple years ago, I explored to manufacture toilet tissue in Ghana. I gust the idea because Chinese imports dominate Ghana market. I learned must manufacture tons a day to be able to compete with Chinese imported toilet tissue.
Chinese are duplicating everything made in any part of the world. Leaders of Ghana should have seen this coming. When we relied on import goods, the Chinese are ready to produce. Even if they are allowed, they could duplicate human lungs.
Our government must sign a trade balance agreement with the Chinese. They should be made to import produce in Ghana to balance trade between us. Or the Chinese should be in agreement to produce the textiles in Ghana or face high levy in Ghana. Mind you the Chinese are good to bride anyone to get their way.
Who in Ghana can withstand Chinese bribing strategies? Who in Ghana Leadership has the ability and vision to work this against the Chinese? Currently, our leadership has a serious problem to put brakes on the fall of the cedi. We are doomed people, we are doooooomed!
