  Considering the investment we have made in education since independence Ghana should have been far advanced by now. It is high time we switched to effective and quality education. We cannot invest so many man hours and money on students only for them to score zero in BECE or SSCE. However we must not forget that if our educational system is good but our economy is bad we would just be exporting labor. A good economy is necessary for a good educational system and a good educational system is necessary for a good economy. Our educational system must be purpose oriented.

  This Mahama guy is not serious. You don't have partners yet and you don't have money yet but you keep making promises. Why don't you wait till you are ready before you start making your promises?

  Frustration in the hands of ministers and public service personnel is hindering the private-public partnership in Ghana. These officials will want to take away investors brought by individuals or become part of it before they allow transaction to go on. I am living testimony but when it happens, there is nowhere to go and seek help. Because the government will be blamed in the end, thses officials keep doing the samething everyday without punishment.

  The Presidency is loaded with too much resposibility. The President should allow his Vice President to handle all state's business deals, this will free the President to oversee the governance of the state. Hon Amissah- Arthur is a Banker who was head of the central bank and he must do these kind of duties.
  There is uncertainty in the market about Ghana's economy and the cedi may collapse all because the President's statements do not create confidence and provide strategic direction for the country.
  If the President does not put the Vice in charge of the state's business, NDC will lose the next election.
