  Any economist or so called, who raises national issues based on political calculations is a bad economist. Why does Bawumia want Government spending checked in election year? is it because now that he's in opposition and seeking power, he will be at a disadvantage if its not checked? Why didn't he propose to curtail government-election year spending when NPP was in power? empty barrel
