  Is this man serious if he is now looking for a new vision after being at helm of affairs all this while? This seems like a nine day wonder or day dreaming.
  You can't change the mentality of the people you can only affect and change or model your staff's behaviour to buy-in into your vision that you should have had by now. Otherwise this will just be noise and/or day dreaming. Have you drawn up a strategic plan or just embarking on wishful thinking?
