It has , probably, rubbed of them enough to make them experts in describing such behaviour by demonstration, but you must know that Ashanti people have suffered by giving up a lot for them to gain over the years. The least they can do is to be be grateful. The Ashantis and more widely, the Akans have the capcity to break away from the country and progress beyond their wildest dreams.
You need ghana they don't. asperations on them is the worse thing you can do and not to have eaten and robbing your mouth in dirt. They ashanti people have not complained even for this permanent economic slowdown they have and have been suffering over the years. If anything at all, you should be grateful to them and not to behave like an unappreciative idiot.

An American tourist was at the pier of a small coastal Ghanaian village when a small boat with just one fisherman docked.

Inside the small boat were several large yellow fin tuna. The tourist complimented the Ghanaian on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took to catch them.

The Ghanaian replied, "Only a little while."

The tourist then asked, "Why didn't you stay out longer and catch more fish?"

The Ghanaian said, "With this I have more than enough to support my family's needs."

The tourist then asked, "But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

The Ghanaian fisherman said, "I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, take siesta with my wife, Akosuah, stroll into the village each evening where I sip wine and play Agbadza drums with my Friends, I have a full and busy life."

The tourist scoffed, " I can help you. You should spend more time fishing; and with the proceeds, buy a bigger boat: With the proceeds from the bigger boat you could buy several boats. Eventually you would have a fleet of fishing boats. Instead of selling your catch to a middleman you would sell directly to the processor; eventually opening your own cannery. You would control the product, processing and distribution. You could leave this small coastal fishing village and move to Accra, then Los Angeles and eventually New York where you could run your ever-expanding enterprise."

The Ghanaian fisherman asked, "But, how long will this all take?"

The tourist replied, "15 to 20 years."
"But what then?" asked the Ghanaian.

The tourist laughed and said, "That's the best part. When the time is right you would sell your company stock to the public and become very rich, you would make millions."

asking him which account should they pay it into. No, keep your money and supply us with the gas you owed us. Reduced the price us our compensation.
Nigerians are thiefs, just because they can get a better price for their gas ghana should take money. Ghana dont have money agreement with nigeria, we have a gas agreement. Why do you want to give us money when we dont have money agreement.

No. Ghana dont need compensation, if Nigeria cant supply all the gas it is prices that have to come down not money compensation.
John Mahama government needs money and we all know that, but taking this money without thinking of gas price is a shame. If world market price of gas goes up in price ghana dont get gas from nigeria, nigeria sells it to the higher bidder. John Mahama will call it people sacrifice gas and had a compensation of $10m. If nigeria was to supply 123 gas a day and only supply 93 gas a day. John Mahama govt dont get it, ghana need 123 of gas and nigeria is only giving as 93 gas, its means nigeria cant help ghana with gas, it is not compensation thing. The failed ghanaians and money cant stop it from happening because nigeria dont have enough for ghana. If nigeria cant get us what we need, they shouldnt be giving money but make sure the supply us not selling it to China.

We do not even need to ask for the money, if not trying to fill back in the $30M foolishly thrown away by such block heads we find ourselves being ruled by, They (Nigerians) find it an easy to pay money because they have more than enough to disburse. The atmosphere this hard action creates between us and them is not bearable. We should think carefully before taking that route. We should be on their side helping them out of this predicament and finding alternative means of generation thepower needs of the country - atleast as a fallback during times like these. they are our allies not foes. A word to the wise.......
