I am wondering which country apart from ghana eat grass cutter or where grass cutter is such a delicacy as in Ghana. In Kwazu- Natal in South Africa, they are classified as pest and treated as such in sugar cane fields. If there was any remarkable international market for them, Kwazu- Natal alone could produce enough to satisfy that market.
I am not suprised at the ignorance of the grass cutter association chairman because even the government thinks Guinea fowl should be produced in a large scale as if guinea fowl meat is an international delicacy. In most countries that I have visited, Guinea fowl is a wild bird and who is going to spend his money on a wild bird in this day and age of multiple viruses and diseases?.Oh Ghana we are bunch of jokers Tweaaaa .
