This shows how visionless our leaders are. Why wait until we are hit these tremendous economic down turn before reinventing the policies? The Contitutional Review Comission set up by NDC itself had recommended to the govt the formulation of a national development plan which NDC itself rejected. Every serious govt has a national agenda that is laid down for successive govt to follow; but in Ghana it is about our party. Nothing good will come out of these interventions if the Creat, Loot and Share does not stop. Cabinet reshuffles will not yield any returns because the harm is beyond redemption.

Any economic model for the nation should lay emphasis on industrializing the nation. To me that is the only way forward to advance the economy. Ghana will forever be a poor nation if we continue to be a raw materials exporting nation. Are the rich, advanced nations exporting raw materials? It is time for us to put on our thinking caps irrespective of our political leanings and think about how the nation can overcome its seemingly insoluble economic problems. The slogan should be-INDUSTRIALIZE THE NATION NOW.

At our present state we need to put emphasis on Agriculture first.A hungry soldier can't go to war.Kwame Nkrumah used cocoa to develop the infrastructure in the country to a very large extent, industrialization was his objective.Today,no administrator is talking about how Ghana is going to become the leading cocoa producer in the world again.Nobody is thinking about how we are going to beat Ivory Coast.Without food security I don't know what we can do.If you want to industralize Ghana then you must come up with specific projects.Without identifying what you want to industrialize,I don't really get your point. For example, what kind of products do you want our raw materials to manufacture. Then remember we have different stages for transforming raw materials. Please take note of how many factories and services have all failed or fell under capacity. Please give me some pragmatic examples of your proposal.Thank you.

Kwame Nkrumah model is the one to transform for the common good.
But that momentum demands industrial discipline and hard work as can be found in China and the West.
The truth is that Ghanaians are far from that discipline and hard work with determination to succeed as an individual for self support and for the love of Ghana
Further, EPAs has restricted role in that reformed Nkrumah model
