  The project brings €540,000 in support to small farmers who usually farm no more than 1 ha. How this relates to a value of "US$ 400m from production of rice" remains a complete mystery.

  The project brings €540,000 in support to small farmers who usually farm no more than 1 ha. How this relates to a value of "US$ 400m from production of rice" remains a complete mystery.
  
  An unbelievable sudden jump of productivity from 2.5 to 6.5 MT/ha is the other great mystery.
  
  And of course everything happening in Mahama's beloved North again while the South is much better suited for rice production.
  
  Where will this money go in the end???
