  It is now an established fact the most of our problems are self made. References to Mr. KB Asante's book , a legacy that is left for posterity to follow that we blame ourselves. If not it has become clearly now that we lack the power to negotiate hence we complained of the EPA and other issues, I will continue to say the NGO of today have outlived their usefulness, because they have actually created this idea that the developed wants to keep us undeveloped instead of fighting hard our self made problems. How can or an official just take such a decision without rigors to due diligence. No consensus just a one sided decision making, no research just lazy work and now the backlash. Should all the French speaking countries decided to follow suit to teach us a lesson then we are finished. Our inability to see things through is hampering our progress. How can they take such a unilateral decision without weighing the consequences of their actions? It also mean a lot of people at that ministry are collecting pay for nothing, the Government has to stretch a wipe on them because it could be a calculated behavior just to bring the Government down.

Our governments must not be coerced into taking short term decisions. Right levels of tax collection from rice imports through our borders can not be guaranteed. so the governments asks that it be imported through approved routes. What is the big deal. Persons fronting for importers calling on the president to do what?
