  The wage bill is not the issues-The other side of the coin is to have more revenue to change the ratios. In fact you are unable to have more revenue because you always employ negative policies that kills business es and hence the reduction in revenue for government. The little revenue you collect too are paid to cronies with corruption tainted contracts-Many abounds so I need not mention. You also waste Ghana money on making political payments. You do not show leadership to galvanize the people for higher productivity. You do not invest the money properly-as you prefer to pay dubious judgments debts than investing in energy-or Tema Oil refinery. You are killing jobs and the Ghanaians by overtaxing them. You see everything is wrong from government actions in making an increase in revenue/GDP. Your concentration on checking on wage bill is not the solution as the issue has to do with self introspection with bad policies and engagement of non thinking/performing minsters and heads. How can you have Allotey Jacobs for Electricity board and expect us not to experience dumsor dumsor? You tease Ghanaians even when these are pinpointed to you and you say you will borrow more. Show us the works of borrowing and you cannot enumerate that to the citizens. I am not doing politics but the Mahama government has failed Ghanaians woefully in all respect. Its a shame and it seems we have useless people at the helm of affairs. I have said it as it is even if you disagree since I know its the truth.

  Retrenchment should start with John Mahama's innumerable advisers and presidential staffers.Just creating incomes for acquaintances will not cut it.

  If, with all the advisers,he cannot see the sack and put the calabash in it,then he doesn't need them.
  Serious privatization of the public sector entities which depend on the government for cash is worth considering .
  The public hospitals,except 37 and the Police ones, should be privatized and the proceeds and subsequent taxes applied to strengthen the NHIS.
  The ghost names should be completely eliminated.
