I visited Aflao and Dzodze areas recently and counted more than thirty fuel stations within a distance of less than 30km, more than we have in Accra. The question is how many vehicles do operate in these areas to warrant many fuel stations. It is plain fact that the fuel especially petrol is smuggled to Togo on daily basis. We must also blame the authorities who issue license to these these fuel stations. Am surprise more stations are opening up in that particular area. Why?
