It is very evident that production will begin this August. It would be foolhrady to promise something will be done within a month given all the delays that have already occurred. This is just common sense.

This project was started much less than 6 years ago. It is vital to energy production in our country, and will improve the situation with dumso dumso when fully operation.

We only ask that everything is expedited to complete the project so that gas supply to the Aboadze thermal complex begins.

The thermal complex should get ready to start utilising the gas as soon as it begins to flow.

MAHAMA is on the right track. The Black Star will surely shine again. He is tackling the "DOUBLE E" - that is, ELECTRICITY AND EDUCATION. These "2 Es" are the two fundamentals to give us our sustainable economic growth. If Mahama gets this electricity and also deliver on the education front, Ghana would have been put on the path of sustainable prosperity. Indeed BRAVO to all stakeholders on this project. This is an excellent project which will not only give us uninterrupted electricity for our homes but importantly for our businesses which will drive forward the private sector development. The project will also allow Ghana to become a producer of fertilizers that can be used to boost our agricultural productivity. GREAT FORESIGHT PRESIDENT MAHAMA.

we have had a history of failed commissioning dates. I dont beleive this one either. Any one out there willing to challenge me? By the 31st Aug the plant would not deliver the gas.

Haven listened to the CEO of Ghana Gas on Joy fm this afternoon, I am 100% convinced that no gas will flow. On radio, he said as for Ghana Gas we have done our part, it is now left with Tullow to tie-in the gas pipeline to its flexible riser. What would help in the count down to the end August date is the Tullow Schedule for the tie-in. He also failed to say whether the Plant itself has been fully commissioned.
