  food stamps are on card too in usa..pre-paid debit cards too..So why should standard charter try to re-invent the system..Only thing new in world is making payments and making deposits by phone

  I will like to applaud the government, BoG and Standard Chartered on implementation of the above project. In effort to bribery and corruption, I will like to suggest to the authorities to issue every Ghanaian with unique identification number e.g. social security numbers. Such unique number must be required to set up bank accounts.

  Ghana wake up; the time is overdue. Ghana is way behind the global economy; that is, Ghana is behind U.S for 200 years. Ghana leaders wake up; Leadership is not a "Lordship". It is about service. There should be paradign ship since Ghana is too sleeping after 58 years of independence.

  If this is true and accurate, then the so called technocrates, why did they attend school in the first place? Because gov't is paying alot for a US firm to lobby for Ghana and now Standchart developing National Payment System ...

Because gov't is paying alot for a US firm to lobby for Ghana and now Standchart developing National Payment Systems for Ghana. If so then we as a country should resolve to call back our colonial masters to rule this country. This is really shameful.
