  Prof., almost everyday we read about assistance for SME's which cannot be accessed, hence large numbers of Graduate unemployment. The problems are i. Lack of Management skills; ii. Lack of sufficient Financing iii. Lack of a Business Plan. The solution is College Business Incubators in the Universities to prepare students before they graduate. Good luck.

  Great points, Dr. Ike. Also there is serious lack of transparency in the operations of many SMEs mainly due to improper record keeping. Banks demand certain records before committing to lending to these organizations. But more often than not, such records are either not there or very dismal.
