  Mr Sintim was not telling truth in an earlier rebuttal he engaged in when he was confronted with the facts of his company Saltpond Explorations Company was the recipient and beneficiary of stolen Crude Oil from Niger Delta of Nigeria. Saltpond Explorations company did not produce oil from Saltpond in the quantum of what it exported to Italy that runs into millions of barrels, where did Saltpond get the excess of crude they re-packaged for export as having been produced from Ghana.
  
  Saltpond Oil has always been engaged in shady oil oil trans-shipment of stolen crude from Nigeria for a very long time and this is what Mr Sintim should admit, sll along when Niger Dekta was boiling with restiveness by militants, Mr Sintim should be held liable partly for playing a role in the lives that were lost in Nigeria for his complicity in recieving stolen crude oil from Nigeria. Mr Sintim's decisions to buy stolen crude from Nigeria must be dealt with under international laws because it equates to funding crminal activities thst engulf the whole region of West Africa.
  
  Money transfers around the world today are under international financial money tranfer regulations so as to check funding of muslim estremists and terrorism anywhere around the world. Saltpond Explorations by their actions are have equally commited the same offence if found culpable for recieving stolen crude from Niger Delta, an action for which reasons restiveness in Niger Delta virtually developed into sub-regional war.
  
  Up until today the activities of Saltpond has eventually turned the gulf regions of West Africa into pirates infested regions where no ship is safe until it docks at a port. If there's no funding or recipient of stolen goods like Saltpond Explorations had engaged in, criminality like the Niger Delta oil theft would not have survived. Mr Sintim should accept there's good amount of complicity in oil theft in Nigeria that must attract sanctions from international piracy laws. He who buys stolen item is himself a thief and that's what Saltpond Explorations Company had engaged in all the while.

  The Flagstaff House should investigate all the shady dealings before our own country falls prey to these same sort of activity! Commoditiesin international trade do not change their COE [ country of Origin] status through mere repackaging,since that would seriously undermine painstaking treaties and trading arrangements which have been negotiated between different countries and trading blocks! As far as I know, the commodity must have undergone a "substantial transformation" so as to have altered its state[ that is to say, move it from one product classification or category to another for it to qualify for the COE designation of the transient country!
  So simply dumping several thousands of NNiaja crude oil into storage tanks in SSaltpond, and then sprinkling same with a few thousand barrels of Ghana ccrude oil,does not, any in way,alter the fact that the goods[oil] originates from Nigeria! If some refining activity were be carried out in Saltpond, then that might do the trick.
  Now since this matter has surfaced,I would urge our Free trade Zone officials t be extra vigilant, and not allow unscrupulous tax-dodgers(companies as well as individuals)to flout the existing arrangements we may have with individual countries or trading blocs which operate under a regime of strict annual quotas!

  Following on the publications of Wall Street Journal in the New York Times of USA about the stolen oil from Nigeria ending in Ghana Saltpond Explorations Company backyard. The EFCC of Nigeria has called on Mr Sintim the CEO of SOPCL eorking for Lashann International Energy Corporation, the majority share holder of Saltpond Explorations Company to come out with evidence of purchase of stolen crude oil from Nigeria for verifications. Investigations is ongoing how Mr Sintim's Saltpond oil company exported oil in millions of barrels when it never produced anything close to 100,000 barrels in the whole of 2013.   Chuck Kofi Wayo has constantly made references to an oil "mafia" operating within the jurisdiction of this country; and I can now understand where he is coming from! If this Sintim character believes everything is above board,why bother to ship the load to Genoa,in far away Italy,rather than having TOR do the refining,in order to reduce the shipping and handling costs associated with the current circuitous arrangement!
  A lot more people(public and private)are involved in this clandestine activity,and the should all be brought to book,especially our CEPS officials.
