I still cannot fathom why state has not retaking over from these BDCs the supply and sale of petroleum products to Ghanaians now that we are producing oil. Are we going to allow these exploitative BDCs to continually spit in our spaces despite the fact that we are producing oil in the name of Ghanaians? Why is the Greedy BDCs so obsessed with world market price increases and not reduction?

THE PROBLEM IS THE SPACE ALLOWED IN THE CURRENT SCHEME FOR RACKETEERS TO RUN THE PETROLEUM ECONOMY. THE NPA AND THE POLICY LEADERSHIP HAVE YET TO ASSUME CONTROL OF THE FACTORS BEHIND THE PRICE MANIPULATIONS. UNTIL THEY DO, THE PRICE HIKES WILL DEFY THE HEDGEBOOK. WHAT TO DO, YOU ASK?
MARKET FORCES WORK WITHIN BOUNDARIES AND EFFECTIVE REGULATORY CONTROLS. OUR SYSTEMS ARE TOO LOOSE AND PROTECTIVE OF THE PLAYERS!
IMPROVE TRANSPARENCY, INFORMATION AND ACCOUNTABILITY BACKED BY SANCTIONS ON THOSE WHO BREACH THE RULES AND THE CONSUMER WILL BE SAVED FROM SHYLOCK EXPLOITATION!
AS THINGS STAND, THE BUREAUCRATS IN CHARGE OF THE SYSTEM HAVE NO CLUE WHY THEY ARE IN THEIR OFFICES; HENCE THE 'EXCUSES' AND 'EXPLANATIONS' WHY THINGS REMAIN OUT OF CONTROL. (IT'S ALL MADE WORSE AS THEY ARE 'SEEN' REGULARLY WITH GREENBACKS TO FURTHER DISORGANIZE THEIR FACULTIES). I BET SOME FOLKS AT THE NPA CANNOT TELL THE DIRECTION TO THEIR HOME VILLAGE ANYMORE; THAT'S HOW BAD IT GETS!
