  Whaaaat? Lift the ban? Government should even make it a criminal offense and any one caught should be prosecuted for logging Rose wood from fragile savanna ecological zones. These people only think of the profits they make?

  Come up north, particularly to West Gonja, Central Gonja, North Gonja and Bole Districts and see the harm these criminals have done to the environment.
  In any case the report says that they were smuggling the wood out, if so how can any right thinking person say that they should be allowed to do so? Mr. Asaki you are a big fool!

  THERE IS A LAW IN GHANA THAT FORBIBS THE EXPORT OF LOGS. SECRETLY EXPORTING 51 CONTAINERS OF REDWOOD LOGS IS AN OFFENCE AND THE EXPORTER SHOULD BE IMPRISONED
