  There are many fields where Ghana lacks the needed expertise. To solve this problem the government of Ghana has over the decades made scholarships available for the needed human resource to be trained abroad. In some cases so many people were sent and not even one returned. If you know you are not prepared to work and live in Ghana and would therefore not return do not take the scholarships.
  
  The Takoradi Poly Students who were sacked for applying with fake certificates must be prosecuted in a court of competent jurisdiction. Just sacking them is not enough.
  
  Nowadays businesses and government organisations have stopped demanding Secondary School Certificate or Basic Education Certificate.
  
  Each of these certificates are important. For example for many tertiary graduates the only certificate that can tell whether one can speak good English or whether one has adequate knowledge of Mathematics is the Secondary School Certificate.
  
  Similarly the only certificate that can tell whether a tertiary graduate has basic knowledge of Ghanaian history, culture, agriculture and the basic geography of West Africa is the Basic Education Certificate.

Gov needs to get serious about storing water for drinking and power generation...Sell Tema oil to eXXON/TOTAL/...EVEN DELTA AIRLINES....DELTA BOUGHT FAILING REFINERY IN PHILLY PA..RETOOLED IT FOR MAX. JET FUEL PRODUCTION AND SAVING THEMSELVES HUGE DOLLARS AND EVEN LOWERED THE PRICE OF JET FUEL ON MARKET FOR THEIR COMPETITORS!

  Is it the central government responsibility to revamp TOR or the responsibility of the management of TOR to table solutions including costs of renovation and ROI showing how they can service the loans and pay back investments with profits to show for?
  
  Aluta or solutions? Can Aluta possibly do any good especially if the very workers trying to stage Aluta are the same folks who ran TOR down over the years long before this government came to power?
  
  Aluta create uncertainty for the economy and rather hurts the chances of government finding monies for renovation assuming there are competent managers at TOR that can recoup back investment

NO GOVT INTERVENTION WILL WORK WITH ALL THOSE RACKETS. IT LED TO THE CLOSURE OF ALL FIVE NIGERIAN REFINERIES FOR NEARLY A DECADE NOW; AND TOR WILL NOT SURVIVE IF THE WORKERS DO NOT CHOOSE INTEGRITY OVER GREED. THE WORLD HAS CHANGED AND TUC CAN TRULY HELP TOR WORKERS BY GETTING THEM TO GIVE VALUE NOT PLAY POLITICS OF SELF INTEREST.
