  Who said any of the unions will be paid this amount. Let us educate ourselves of the laws and if possible seek legal advice; not for litigation though.

  Ghanaians are just too stupid and senseless. Employees are not asking to manage their monies. They don't trust government and they want a neutral establishment i.e bank to manage the funds for them. Government will use their monies for election and they will suffer. Ghanaians should be bold for once and reason together and forget about party affiliates. Government officials always have their ex gratia without any problem after every 4 years and now people that served the country for many years are not treated well. God have mercy. Aluta!!!!!

  I am yet to hear the unions say they want their money and don't want any government guarantee. They are asking to eat their cake and still have it. Let there be a referendum of all the workers to see if they will entrust their pensions into the hands of their leadership without the government guarantee and the answer will be NO!
