Power generation must be through wholly owned Ghanaian entities. This is because foreign power producers would have a negative impact on our GDP/GNI.

Power generation must be through wholly owned Ghanaian entities. This is because foreign power producers would have a negative impact on our GDP/GNI.

VRA, ECG and other power producers in the country must charge electricity in kilowatt hours. How much is 1 kilowatt hour of electricity??

It is said that while some districts pay high electricity tariffs others pay next to nothing. It is also said that within the same neighborhoods in the Accra/Tema Megapolis tariffs vary from house to house.

my electric bill for 3 bedroom house in USA from electric co-op is $51 (153 cedi)...340 kilo watts...enough to run 2 computers,electric clothes washer and dryer, tv, microwave and refrigerator...plus lites from 6 pm till 3 am ...
