  IF Ghana at some point were having surplus energy supply by which we extended some to our neighboring countries,what really happened that we didn't vision to know that the population will and is increasing so the need to increase electricity a necessity. we are now talking about conserving energy.will we still be talking about conserving energy if we have in excess? if just leaving appliances on sleeping mode can raise up electricity bills,then i believe the Americans,Europeans and Asians cant pay their bills considering the number of appliances they have in their homes.our leaders have just failed us over the years and we are simply not not doing our best and only finding excuses to the problem instead of solutions.

  VRA, ECG and other power producers in the country must charge electricity in kilowatt hours. How much is 1 kilowatt hour of electricity??
  
  It is said that while some districts pay high electricity tariffs others pay next to nothing. It is also said that within the same neighborhoods in the Accra/Tema Megapolis tariffs vary from house to house.
