  Competition from other countries – especially in Asia -- has been identified as a threat to Ghana’s professional services export potentials, particularly in the area of BPO and medical tourism. The tendency of government to focus on promotion of physical products to the neglect of services and operational cost of bandwidth has also been noted as threats.

  Ghanaian professional services are "inferior" and can't compete in the western world! Engineers don't get the required training until they go out for graduate studies and then they realize that they can't compete industry wise with their colleagues from other Asian countries. Politicians MUST stop deceiving Ghanaians to thinking that they are competitive. It is a SHAME! Please give these intelligent professionals the required training before you export them otherwise they will unknowingly bring shame to the country and noone will hire them again!
