I agree with Justice Emile Short that the language used by GBA was inappropriate but at the same time, it is true that Afari Gyan's credibility was dented and the image of the Electoral Commission tarnished by what was revealed at the SC Presidential Petition hearing. If Afari Gyan could not define over-voting then why is he the Electoral Commissioner?
The GBA erred to have suggested the appointment of a new EC in advance when the existing one retires in 2015. That is against the constitution and it's sad that those who should be defending the constitution sought to undermine it. I hope they have learnt a lesson from this misguided and uncalled action.

Somebody should please tell this mumu of a journalist parading himself as "legitimate huuhaa" up the ink-lane of our tabloid down south that before someone boards a plane, one must be able to show his or her ticket cum boarding pass at the very gate of the plane he or she is attempting to embark for appropriation of seat. Now, if he had suggested that somebody may have 'liaise-up' with Nayele Ametefe and hand over that particular bag in question prior to her boarding the short bus ride to the plane, then that could have been a plausible plot since there are no cameras on both joints at our famous Kotoka chicken farm we called an airport and he may have gotten a big A from my end. However, since he obviously hasn't travelled through that farm before, it would be better to shushu over there.
Oh! One more thing, thus, who told Baako the lady did all those packaging in the plane without anybody noticing? Amazing Kweku Baako!

Now, was it deliberate, a corroboration with Heathrow as reported by NACOB, A planned thing between the lady and some members of NACOB on duty the said date or paying them off to obtain screening free through the system, that is what Baaku here has to find out before opening his mouth wider than the Pacific Whale.
But somebody bringing the stuff to her in the plane? Oh, Please! The last time I was returning from Ghana, some group of American students tried to test the system by carrying bottles of water in their hand luggage and they were forced to give it over when detected. In the KLM flight that we were travelling, two of them where sitting just a roll from me and they simply laughed it off by calling each other 'BUSTED' teasingly since their plan was to just test the system down there.

Bon, to arrest the suspect in Ghana and have the suspect released under mysterious circumstances, NACOB decides, let the suspect go with her trouble from Ghana, but in the "Queensland" there is the rule of law, they would deal with her. The point is not who aided her to board the plane with the stuff. Here in the USA once they suspect a person, they would take time to gather all the relevant data from sourcing to distribution until the gang is busted and killed finally. So far no mention has been made of what CCTV apparatus (if any) can contribute to resolving this matter. There has been no analysis of the security procedure and where this could have fallen short. There are so many avenues that remain unexplored and we are surmising and politicking. Ghana cuts a very bad picture here.
