  This is political rhetoric. First of all the electricity supply is unreliable so there can be no sustained industrial production. Load shedding is primarily due to lack of foresight. Already, many heavy industries, massive hotels, educational institutions etc have sprung up across the country in recent years which all demand a continuous supply of large MW of electricity. Minister, fix the problem of erratic power load shedding first, otherwise your industrialization plans will just remain a mere political statement. The investors are closely monitoring the power crisis in Ghana.

ITS TIME FOR THEIR REVIVAL WITH THOSE WITH TECHNOLOGY AND TECHNICAL KNOW-HOW TO CREATE COMPANIES THAT MANUFACTURES PRODUCTS, AND PROVIDES ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR A WIDE RANGE OF INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL AND CONSUMER MARKETS.
