“We need a Think Tank that will sit down and plan our energy issues for the next 30 years. This may not be thinkable to many people but if some people are thinking about 50 years, then why not also think about 30 years and then we begin to find strategies by which we can get this solved,” Prof Owiredu said.

Dr, Akpalu, why don't you team up with Drs. Owiredu and Eric Twum to start the Energy Think Tank?
We are sick and tired of dumsor-dumsor.

As the population continues to grow, and we continue to industrialize our power source must expand. Do we buy transformers that can be upgraded, or compatible with future technology or discarded products outmoded at inception? How about fuel efficient machines? The list can go on and on. If we only react to population explosion or industrial expansion, then somebody is not thinking right.

Instead of talking about your long tern energy plan, why don't you put it on paper for us to join the conversation.
I hope the energy plan is sane and sustainable enough to include renewable sources of energy, and energy efficiency.
