  why was this company paid millions or billions to re-invent the ATM/Credit card system.....europe already has the secure card with chip..while America still use older system with the magnetic strip..I was able to use my card ...

  why was this company paid millions or billions to re-invent the ATM/Credit card system.....europe already has the secure card with chip..while America still use older system with the magnetic strip..I was able to use my card at Steers 10 years ago...Pos (point of sale) system are nothing new having been around USA for 15 years
