  The govt should USE this opportunity to TERMINATE THE WHOLE DEAL !! Give the IMF till end January 2015 .If they say NO, terminate the SHADY DEAL!!!

  So after borrowing $27bn in six years , we going for IMF bail out. When is this NDC govt going to learn fiscal discipline? It economically wrong to continue piling huge debt on the Nation. Ghana have to find an innovative ways to generate money with our abundance resources and create surplus, so that, we can also lend to the IMF and the international financial market and make some interest from our money. This is all about having the right mindset.

  I trust Mr Terkper's judgment on this matter. I know this govt will take care not to be shortchanged by the IMF.

  terkpter is the man that raise txes and fees and vat on all of us he is one of the Ghana problem not the salution he cant be trusted

  The problem is that the IMF is being boxed in a corner and knows they cannot help but are being forced to come up with an impossible economic solutions; the onus really is on Ghana whether they can control and balance the macro economic elements ; the reality is that Jon Mahama can control the expenditure and cannot raise revenue; Ghana is living in an Alice in wonderland economy ; industrial output is low ; oil prices are falling ; commodity prices cannot be sustained on the world mart; there is no manufacturing base and the Agric sector is weak; the economy is based on only buying and selling which Jon Mahama and these NDC gurus think willpower the economy ; all they know is easy money of peddling cocaine.
