  It's disgusting and ddisheartening the governmen has enacted policy of banning an inland importation of rice and in favour of importation of foreigners . The ggovernment is supposed to protect the interest of. local businessmen and women who do genie business and pay appropriate taxes. The government should not deprive them of their daily bread as it would help them to take care of their families. The government must bear in mind that the foreign importers would send their profit to their home countries, but local importers would use their profits for development in Ghana. The local inland rice importers should make demonstration and fight by tooth and nail until the Government. reviews this policy and drives foreigners from importation of rice
