  Countries train their doctors differently and award different degrees. It is time we started conferring Doctor of Medicine degrees to MBChB students who have performed the necessary research projects as some countries do.

  Countries train their doctors differently and award different degrees. It is time we started conferring Doctor of Medicine degrees to MBChB students who have performed the necessary research projects as some countries do.
  
  The current practice where newly inducted doctors called house officers with no experience whatsoever are left to experiment with (attend to) serious medical cases while residents, specialists and consultants are away must be put to a stop immediately. There must be at least one specialist present 24 hours in three shift rotations to supervise them. Our health system as it is presently is not the best. The situation in the countryside and rural communities is even worse.

  in Most USA states the person exiting medical school, serve for 1 year or more and then take State Board exam before starting their own practice and some States don't observe other states qualifications....New Jersey will not ...

  in Most USA states the person exiting medical school, serve for 1 year or more and then take State Board exam before starting their own practice and some States don't observe other states qualifications....New Jersey will not accept nursing certificates from New York...You have to test again! plus they have already complete 4 years of regular university with science course then take the 2-3 years of medical..plus if they want specialist certificate they school more...USA doctor can easy have 8-9 years of school after grade 12

  There is no need to seek ways to increase revenue, only that those who correct them has to be faithful.
