Oil prices are around $60 a barrel and dats very low. So why is energy so expensive in ghana u ask?price gouging! They will have the nerve to ask me of I have proof. Well, what was the amount in your bank accounts before you got these jobs and now? If younwant to revive the economy. Improve energy,.water access and Lower taxes and lower interest rates. More people.will borrow to.work, create jobs etc and pay taxes, invest etc. Is this too.difficult.to.do, NDC?

In this day and age global prices don't always go up; except in Ghana. We need to plan strategically to fully benefit from our natural resources: gold, diamond, cocoa and now oil. We have to sell when prices are high and build strategic stocks when prices are low, possibly taking advantage of futures markets to do so. If we just go with the flow, we will be very poor. See how oil and gas prices have tumbled and we have invested in the area -- could have bought them on the world market for $60 a barrel.

The problem we actually have in Ghana is that we have never had a committed government with enough know how AND STRATEGY- in my candid opinion nkrumah and kuffour were the only two who tried a bit.this mahama and his henchmen are just criminals- i mean to borrow more in 5 years what collectively nkrumah to Mills did and yet even basic lighting we dont have tells you a lot of how inept mahama's admin is- offcourse we know they dont care so far is their personal pockets are being lined up whilst majority Ghanaian are wallowing in poverty and dumsor. now that they know they will loose 2016 we shall see even more gargantuan corruption. the real issue with all these corruption and debt is that what can the next gov do? nothing

2014 was a tough year as if there were natural disasters, ebola etc in Ghana. None of that Ok. All our problems are self-made due to this gangster and incompetent government we have. How can a country, a business or even a church survive when a big percentage of its revenue and resources go to waste, into managers' pockets and also not managed well? IMF and 2015 promising outlook is disgusting. Why should 2015 be any different from 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010 when the same people are in charge? There has been a downward trend in Ghana. It is not just 2014. Why can just 2015 fix unnecessary problems created over multiply years? The citizens of Ghana who have nothing left are the ones whose sweat and misery this government is going to ask to sacrifice and then turn around to ask for their votes. Only fools, only fools don't see what is going on and still support this craziness.
