  I shake my head when politicians try to explain away their failings. Please. Take responsibility where responsibility is due.
  
  First, you can't blame the NDC government for the falling currency in the first 6 months of the Atta Mills government. This was due to NPP overspending for the 2008 election. However, after this point, everything should be left at the doorstep of the party in power. 2014 was a disastrous year. The cedi was the worse performing currency in Africa (and within top 5 worse world wide). The ballooning salary budget, if it was caused by single spine, was STILL implemented under the NDC watch. I am very curious about the reports out of the EU stating there are huge numbers of NDC supporters on the government payroll.
  
  Ghana has found oil. Has more money coming in than ever before but still needs to go for an IMF bailout. It's debt will likely go close to 80% before the 2016 and residents are grateful when receiving 3 days of continuous electricity supply.
  
  The government has nothing to be proud of.

This self appointed Financial Analyst called Sydney Casely-Hayford, is nobody than a common fool-solder sophisticatedly blowing the NPP's propaganda trumpet around under the guise of some accredited Financial Analyst. A trick so families with the files of Kukurudu from the political yesteryear Ghana.

  You people were left with OIL,NPP didn't,yet you have sent Ghana to the IMF,FOR a bailout.

  You might argue on this that NPP also went for the HIPC,BUT THAT WAS INEVITABLE OR THE LAST OPTION FOR PRESIDENT KUFUOR,because the NDC FOUNDER,AFTER 19 WASTED YEARS ON THE THRONE,blew everything.
  Hey,I can say we are blessed that Ghana is naturally a peace-loving nation,else,what might have happened now,would have been very bad,because of NDC'S weak economic policies,corruption,unpatriotic and uncaring attitude,covetousness,selfishness,as well as,incompetence,ignorance and lies,might have been chaotic,brutal,disastrous and wild.
  Let's thank God also,that NANA AKUFO ADDO,is selfless and a man of integrity and wisdom,for humbly accepting the appeal results of the corrupt SUPREME COURT PERSONNELS,headed by ATUGUBA.
  Don't support blindly with numbers that do not count.

  I was one of those who thought of Hayford as an economist. It's now clear he is a politician. Stripped naked, I now begin to wonder if he not just throwing political dust into our eyes.
