ZERO TOLERANCE FOR CORRUPTION!
Corruption Endemic in Africa: Corruption was set up by the colonial overlords who used their western style education to train Africans to be bureaucrats in the civil service. Thus, propagating bureaucracy and corruption to favor the colonialists. This is why Boko Haram for example are livid with the corrupt, number changing, ballot stuffing, nature of these western educated govt bureaucrats in naija. Will Boko haram end up in Ghana? Why not?
1. Corruption Sensitivity Training: Educate the executives(attorney general, the judges, public officials, immigration, police officers)about the short, long term effects and impacts of corruption. Corruption Sensitivity Training should be a mandatory part of interview process, class, testing requirement for all ministers and public sector officials. Make them aware of the consequences and have them sign off on this. If judges, police officers, employees are educated and made to understand the explicit and implicit impacts of corruption and how it affects their own salaries, bonuses etc. Things will change!
2. Enforce the Law: Offenders must face jail time, tickets/fines, sell assets to payback what has been stolen, name and shame offenders in media
3. Put ethical persons in positions of power,
4. yearly revenue audits brief
5.NPP: Narcotic & Pharmaceutical Party, NDC: National Dealers of Corruption(Price Inflators of the national budget, safety pin, toothpick, kenkey, oil, mbaa dross)

Accra is the national capital. Workers at the various ministries live in Accra with their families. The government of Ghana in order to achieve its objectives has been holding a series of workshops in batches, sometimes lasting for more than a month, for officials from all districts of Ghana. A disturbing trend has been noticed. All these workshops are being held in the Ashanti Regional capital.

This is disturbing for 2 reasons. Firstly because the capital is Accra the government officials have their homes in Accra and not the Ashanti Regional capital. The government therefore has been paying hotel bills for these government officials to stay in the Ashanti Regional capital throughout the duration of the workshops. If the workshops were held in Accra there would be no need for money for their accommodation. The additional expense is so enormous that it could have been used to contruct schools and clinics in many needy communities across the country.

Secondly this is leading to strained family relations as government officials are spending more and more months in a year away from their families who live in Accra.

The President, Parliament, Journalists and the political parties must ensure that all such workshops are held in Accra.

It appears women in high positions in public institutions are failing. You can name them - CHRAJ Boss, SIC Boss, Betty Mould, Victoria Harma, Gender Minister etc

Lose supervision or lack thereof, causes many problems. It makes one wonder how she got the position in the first place.

If this woman ignored the board directives on guarantees that led to the loss of GHS 135 million, then we have to wonder on whose authority she was acting.

However, it appears to me only women are being fired. Where are their useless and corrupt male counterparts who scheming the country into bankruptcy. I want see both men and women in position of trust fired. We are keeping scores.

The idea that the replacement of a proven, industrious person of this stature can be replaced by a minion and nothing would go wrong is foolish. This is insurance, people.

even our mothers and aunts, sisters have all now joined the fraud! the credibility of women are at stake. I used to have a very conservative few of the Ghanaian women when it came to fraud but hmmm!!!

The article states that the board directed her not to issue guarantees on loans. It appears she ignored directives, indulging in the very act that caused the loss.
