We have the sun most of the year so, why can't we use its energy which I think will be cheaper?

Surely another propaganda. In one breath 500mw in another 8mw then it shift to 85% complete to be increased to 1000mw in 2015. The story is not logical and just another gimmick from some useless sqealors

It does not make sense and does not serve Ghana. How does a trail energy, not tested and unoperational save the Ghana situation. Who bears the cost of this SCAM?
If I was told DENMARK was building a wave power for electricity I would have yielded my time of writing as the country have done ground breaking work in this nascent energy field.
The cost factor is very debatable and compared to what.
The fact that there is a mention of and Estuary tells me that Ghana is going to collapse soon, Ghanaians are becoming more illiterate than educated.
Because if it is sea wave that is the force for the power why talk about Estuary in tge Volta region.
Estuaries have the calmest water if I am not mistaken that is why mangroves flourish. You want to take a look at characteristics of blackish waters then you will know Starrfm has to be sanctioned for a year.

I have just read 4 different articles on th etechnology of this for the Chinese model at the 3 Gorges Dam. They are investing 203Billion cool. Uk want to create one at Swansea to power 120,000 homes for over 100 years.They want to creat a local tidal lagoon by blowing a cool 850 million just to make the artificial infrastructure before they buy and put the equipment in. The intention is to sell power and raise 79 Billion. But all this news is old news. No one has anything in place. I've looked at power-technology site and I don't see anything substantive.

Cant we produce turbine machines locally ???

Ghana is doing nothing, except talking! All infrastructure projects are build and paid by foreigners, there is not enough knowledge in Ghana, and the money is in corrupt hands or wasted!
