Workers contributions cannot be entrusted to any private organization.When Kwame Nkrumah introduced the Social Security scheme in 1965,which was then under the adminstration of State Insurance Corporation,its objective was to pay benefits to workers when they retire.I am surprised to hear that the Government is now diverting funds for other investments.This is has defeated the goal of the scheme.
