  Mr Ntarmah is very right. Let's hope this government will begin to put things right. Just think of the job creation alone. The country needs a tertiary school devoted solely to rail engineering. Foreigners will pay to attend, ...

  Mr Ntarmah is very right. Let's hope this government will begin to put things right. Just think of the job creation alone. The country needs a tertiary school devoted solely to rail engineering. Foreigners will pay to attend, bringing in foreign exchange; the country will export expertise, also a source of forex.

  Thank you very much Mr Ntarmah for telling Ghanaians the truth that since the overthrow of Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah in 1966 no government has invested in the Railways.This shows the extent to which Afrifa and Kotoka's coup,planned and masterminded by Busia and financially supported by the CIA has damaged the country.All the governments which followed the coup paid lip-service to the revamping of the railway sector.It is sad that the important role the Railway can play in the resuscitation of the country's economy is yet to be apprciated.Apart from creating jobs the railways will offer far cheaper transportation of goods, raw materials and people throughout the country.For relegating the revamping of the railway sector to the background governments which have ruled the country since 1966 have done enormous harm to the resuscitation of the nation's economy.

  The rail sector needs rehabilitation asap.
  
  
  The good work being done on the Sekondi to Takoradi line must be extended to Kumasi and to Accra.
  
  The Accra to Nsawam line must be rehabilitated and new trains obtained.
