The government is totally broke and will not admit it. This is the reason we have third rate universities in Ghana. No money for better programs.
However money needs to be earmarked in a separate budget for maintenance for the Universities as well.
Does anyone actually know if all these salary receipients are real, alive, employers? This day and age (21st century) we still do not have a unique identification system that is traceable...we are just morbor!!!
What percentage of the total budget is from student tuition. What do they do with the tuition. There should be accountability? Ghanaians always talk about pay-outs, but they do not account for monies received.
