  Its sad to be a Ghanaian in Ghana these days. We lack confidence, control and self believe. Most Ghanaians will rather leave everything to foreigners and beg for crumbs. We don't support our own people and spend all our time bringing each-other down. It's pathetic. Let's learn from Nigeria. They take control of everything, including corruption. In Ghana even the corruption is foreign controlled.

  How can we take control of our natural resources by word of mouth?
  The natural resources Ghana and Africa have,undoubtedly.What we lack is the wherewithal to explore or mine them.The capacities and capabilities are conspicuously missing.
  That is the reason the multinational corporations with huge capital outlay and many years of accumulated technical know-how come in.
  Personally,I do not have a problem agreeing with an entity with the needed financial strength to unearth my gold buried in the bowels of the earth.I will be more focused on the revenue split.That is where the problem lies,the leaders and their accomplices accepting any net income distribution percentage detrimental to the nation after receiving soothing kickbacks.
  Net revenue distribution should be expected to tilt in favor of the investors because of cost recovery for capital and equipment replenishments.
  Our resolve should be centered on
  (1) competitive bidding to maximize our cash flows
  (2)eschewing ourselves from bribery and corruption in the award of contracts.
  (3)inculcating meaningful local content programs and ensuring their implementation.
  (4)cultivating the habit of saving our widows mite and not dissipate it through stealing and frivolous and wasteful politically expedient development projects.
  (5)shooting for self-financing projects and ensuring that the income streams do not become somebody's chop money,so that they will accumulate for maintenance and replacement.

Look it's so sad that we allow this Chinese people to dig and destroy our land that our children and great grand children going to feed on in the future just because this above people don't think and all they think is get the money from this foreigners and use the money to chase all this young girl. My warning to the president and all the paramount chief this is a state of emergency act now b4 is too later for the good ppl of Ghana.

  If you have fools for leaders, unthinking and idiotic elite, a passive and unimaginative middle class, and a generally crass and victimized people whose pride has sunken into the toilet, you have the situation we now live with: pawned our birthright, natural resources and our pride to the Chinese, Lebanese, Europeans, and the Americans. We are a laughing stock of the African continent. Compare us to the nationalist Nigerians, and you have a country that has failed to live up to its promise when we gained independence with Nkrumah at the helm.

  the transactions started with you ambassadors in their various countries. has gh got any policies which are pinpointed to foreigners as they take visas either for tourism or for business acquaintance? ghana is till today in tenancy agreement to most countries in housing diplomats. most of these foreign policies failures are due to lack of vision on the part of our stomach and foreign accounts interested plus foreign nationality acquirement motivated diplomats. ghana's percentage out of the 200 billion stack in hsbc in geneva.... was it all through western union and moneygram? just see the how much too much a ten-year un secretary general tenure offered to our nation. a swiss minister wants to become the next un secretary.... let us see what buckhalter will do for his nation despite the fact that the un in europe is in his backyard garden. what is new about foreigners acquiring properties? just like the jews telling jesus that abraham was their father and they had never been slaves. the ill fate of short memory and deprived conscience. for centuries we were enslaved .....modernized to colonialism. the whole nation was an extended property of the queen of england( even at tea time). nea odenade.....ode nebenkum... some smart individuals thought it safer like our today's transferred civil servants to convince the masters. they came out with the slogan master no dey boy dey.(before the jjs and konadus were born) the master agreed to the deal after all love and money are sweeter at distance and from afar. africa is too hot and the the load of indiscipline is getting too much with the high rate of population increase. which means the worst is to come (ask indisciplined atenga for more details) so the masters voluntarily accepted. unlike jesus of good faith and fate.... who has more for his creation and out of compassion handed over both physical and spiritual keys to his disciples... and gave them every spirit they needed. hinting them correctly as to even the dangers ahead.
