It is a good idea to invest or establish banks to facilitate growth of the economy, but please take religion out. Religion was meant to reconcile mankind to her Creator. However, religion is doing the opposite and creating all kinds of tension that are destabilizing the world.

So I will not support any institution called Islamic Bank or Christian Bank - a bank is a bank, PERIOD! I don't believe classifications or discrimination of any kind.

Such banks are not needed in Ghana. Muslim solidarity can't/wont withstand or refuse the capital injection from Isis, Al Shabaab,boko haram. Thereafter money laundering, movement of money to purchase arms etc No No no

I am with you on this one. A bank is a bank why should there be a Christian bank and a Islam bank.
Don't start anything that would bring division. Christians and Islamic/Moslems should be able to use any bank of their choice ...

Please read on it before CRITICIZE. If YOU HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT IT DON'T TALK. Ask bankers bother muslims and non-muslims and they will tell you effectiveness of this concept.
This is why ISLAM is superior to all religion. It has regulation governing all aspects of our lives. It is a complete religion.

So, it's a sin to charge interest on a loan? As long as some murderous idiots do not decide to punish people for charging interest on loans, it's ok. Islamic Banks exist in the West too.

And to those who say they will be used to finance terrorism i say your fears are misplaced.So far there is no evidence in Europe that they are being used to finance terrorism.Rather it is the long established traditional Banks which have been found guilty of facilitating money laundering activities used to finance terrorism.
