What should be the minimum requirement in recruiting lecturers into a tertiary institution? Is it a masters degree or a PhD with a course in education??

Professors in tertiary institutions must read GES directives. There are many important and useful GES directives which would help them.

GES banned all forms of corporal punishment in Educational institutions but there are reports that some tertiary institutions are still carrying out this practice. Asking students to kneel down and so on.

Lecturers in tertiary institutions must recognize the fact that students in these institution are adults.

At times I wonder which planet the NDC lives on. Ohh now you have resorted to ghanaweb to spread your falsehood after loosing the radio war,shame on you.They think ghanaians are so stupid and blindly love mahama that upon all his inefficiencies in government plus dumsor dumsor he will still be maintained. In the 2012 elections a lot of factors were at play. People giving sympathy votes as a result of Atta mills death, people didn't know the governance style of mahama, the akuffo addos age factor which our nigerian brothers have shown us recently that when times are hard we put away with all experimentations bring to bare matured critical thinkers, well established people who are well exposed and are critical players on the international stage. Mahama in this regard has failed woefully. He seems to hv no policy direction, all he does is to take kneejerk decisions. But left for our brothers from the Volta region alone no other political party rules Ghana apart from the NDC. So much so that they get the space to push through their stupid number nine (9) agenda of stocking almost all government and public institutions with their tribesmen. Is it not surprising that now in modern age ghana almost all financial and insurance institutions are headed by ewes. If I may ask are they the only educated people in Ghana? Are they clever than the northerners, akwapims, Gas, ashantes, brongs, fantes, nzemas, akyems etc etc. At times I wonder whether the other tribes are taking a cue from what is going on. Is it not surprising that ewes in public institutions far exceeds the other tribes combined.
Also never be deceived that mahama is a northerner and so no big deal about ewes. The ewes are in control, talk of the Gbehos, Tsikatas, Awoonors, selormeys etc etc. Ghananaians our Nigerian brothers have shown as the way its now time for us to follow suit.
