  The economy is hitting many families hard and many have run out of ideas.
  
  Boachsoft Finance 2012 software, developed in East Akim Municipality (Akyem-Maase and Bunso) in the Eastern Region of Ghana and in Accra/Sakumono, is helping many families across the globe to balance the family budget, amortize loans and save for the future.
  
  The next version is set to be released in December 2016. Use only the 2012 version.

  Nestle's R&D in Abidjan in the spirit of shared value is helping farmers in Ivory Coast to increase output by 5times without increase in farm size. the technology is GMO free.
  CocoaBoard should be humble enough to solicit for support. Nestle is doing this by providing good and high yielding seedlings to the farmers. This is why Ivory Coast still remains the number one producer of cocoa in the world.

  I have the following questions for the Vice President and whoever was present at the ceremony.
  
  1. Where was he speaking? Was it at an inauguration of yet another Youth in cocoa farming? It would have impressive, if there was a picture to depict the atmosphere at the ceremony instead of his picture being shown.
  
  2. Who was he addressing? Was it a mixed audience of both old and young?
  
  3. I am a cocoa farmer of 70 years old. My area of operation is in the Suhum enclave. To make a difference in the story let me take readers back to the 1970s. The then government realising the decline in cocoa in the pioneer area in the industry, initiated the Suhum Cocoa Project in the early 70's. The approach was to invigorate the industry and the exercise was extremely infectious and that gave rise in production in the area thereafter. During that period, the seedlings were carried to your farm, labour (which planted the seedlings )provided at the cost of the project. That whetted the appetite for the industry in the area and the scheme was replicated in the Ashanti Region soon after. It created jobs particularly for women and the youth. Currently, the youth in the area are all urban oriented and do not find the industry attractive. As a result of that labour has become extremely expensive, creating a situation where the old people on the farm can practice very good farm hygiene. Compare the amount paid for "by day" in the Ashanti Region and Eastern. For me there is no attraction to the industry for the youth. Majority of them think it is cocoa farming is behind the acquisition of iPad and camboo and baggy jeans which are his priority.
  
  4. What is the population of extension officers available in the system for the promotion of the industry as against the drive to improve the industry? What exist is nothing to be proud of. Is Cocobod directly involved or it is the brain child of the beneficiaries of the product?
  
  5. If the government's drive to get the industry activated as being project by the Vice President, then the 50,000,000 seedling it claims it has, will have to be delivered to the registered farmers at their farms. You know it is the lean season for them and engaging vehicles to convey is a major challenge. Why has Cocobod stopped the delivery? Very disappointing to the farmers.
