This govt is reckless and their attitude to debt is worse than drunken soldiers especially, when there is no evidentiary proof in infrastructure dev’t for these loans
We need a bold and principled leader to address the impact of Single Spine. We have no choice we have to lay off people, we can't afford to use 70% of tax revenues on emoluments!
Govt needs to explain and act swiftly instead of delaying the inevitable and sugar-coating as they recently did this, for fear of of losing votes!

I have been saying that truants cannot rule and NDC is full of such social misfits. When Mahama assume the presidency, the first thing he did is to increase his salary three times to that of Kufuor and Mills and that set the ball rolling.
As CEO of Ghana, salary increment should have been the last thing to cross his mind. We are currently using 70 to 75 percent of our revenue to pay salaries and wages and it seems there is nothing to be done to reign in the increasing cost. So, no amount of cash infusion can stop the jolts in the economy. If Mahama understands the crises facing the nation, he should be bold and cut cost through reduction of his government. The government is too big.
