The University of Ghana has failed in this article to disclose how it is going to repay Africa Integras within the 25 years after which the transfer of ownership will happen. Dear Papiidi, It is a BOT arrangement. That means Intergas will build the facilities with its own resources, operate them (presumably for profit) for 25 years and then transfer ownership to the UG. The university pays nothing out of pocket, but will probably be required to assist in collecting user fees to help pay for Intergas' investment. It's a good creative way to secure infrastructure the university critically needs. Much better going for a loan which will burden the government and Ghanaians with yet more debt.
