  What is the reason for the delay in bringing the needed Generators? if care isn't taken the water level in the dam would be at it worse level and we would have no solution than to close the dam completely.
  
  We should expect to sleep in more darkness as 3 of the turbines are closed. Maybe 48 hrs off 12 hours on.Hmmm..Ghana

  Oh I weep daily for the management of the Akosombo Dam! Please Mr. President, listen to the operators of the dam more than anybody else. I spent my entire working life for the VRA and I know what the Dam can take. Please put your ears to the ground and appoint a high power delegation made up of technocrats to investigate how dangerous the level of the dam is now and take the appropriate action to save it. Baer in mind that it took our first president a lot of effort, time and energy to have this dam constructed. There are operational guidelines which should not be flouted just for political expediency. Let the VRA manage this dam without any arm twisting from any quarters. His Excellency the President, please for the sake of future generations yet unborn, I will cave your indulgence to personally intervene by paying a working visit to the damsite and verify the dire situation for yourself. Please let's embrace all who could put their acts together and help Ghana out of this terrible situation with the dam. I would recommend the following experienced retiree of VRA who at one time or another been linked with the operations of the dam. These include but not limited to the following: Messrs. J. Okpoti, R. Ankrah, G. D. Boateng, Fred Sowah, J. Amissah-Arthur, etc. Long live Ghana!

  pls tell the truth and do not blame water levels. if water levels fall during the rainy season what will happen when the dry season sets in.
