  Countey that is not productive in terms of manufacturing, agriculture and agro processing but full of banks. Baking is good but it is not the wealth creator for Ghana. Banks are like lawyers, they are necessary but we need more exports, less imports and produce more for our country to thrive. Africa is full of banks and retailers but less productive ventures that is why the whole Africa is in a mess

  These profits are unconscionable since they are largely from interest rates and government bonds. How come there is constant cry about difficulty to access to capital by the private sector? Or is that just politics?

  we should rather be praising the commercial banks,having developed strategies at the moment of this difficult times in Ghana economy to be able to mame profits.
  
  it is wealth noting the intest rate the commercial banks charges are mostly influence by the police direction of bank of Ghana.
