  The CET you are pushing for is a detrimental system for the pharmaceutical industry in the region. The CET has 0% duty for imported finished pharmaceutical products and 5% duty if raw material is imported to produce the same item. Are policy makers drunk when they pass such laws. Are we trying to encourage those in industry or do we prefer to destroy them. CET should never be passed in its current form. We kill industry and value addition with such policies and cry about lack of jobs and the cedi depreciating !!!
