I'm sorry to say that almost every one in Ghana is doing Politics especially the Northern part of the Country therefore leaving this beautiful landscapes in the Northern parts of our country waste .The people are hard working and very intelligent in both Academic when given the opportunity to do so .All what is needed is to provide necessary development to the area so that the Youth in this part of the Country will feel happy to stay and feel free to Study for their future instead of turning them into Azorka and the Bull dogs . Idiots are having a field day becos of freedom of expression. They completely ignore the topical issue and plunge into insulting leaders instead of offering solutions. These leaders only happen to be elevated by all of us because of our votes but are not neccesarily more intelligent than us. Some of us have better ideas than them as far as solving the pressing problems are concerned.
We should endevour to avoid tribal politics as it does not favour anybody. To be honest with ourselves, every Ghanaian is innately tribalistic. It is not the preserve of Ashantis or Ewes nor Dagombas; We all do it to people who are not from our tribe.
To the more substantive issue, I am deeply disapointed by SADA and the entire staff that superintended the massive looting in Sada. What the Good Prof is advocating for could have been solved be sada even with the Guinea fowl initiative which unfortunately was messed up by our own Northern brothers.
Cattle breeding is a huge industry which has been woefully left untapped. We have left it in the hands of the illiterate fulani pastorialists which could have solved the rising tide of unemployment in the north. From shepherding, milk production for processing into yogurt, ice cream, cheese and milk, meat and meat products and hide; this industry could greatly increase income levels and reduce unemployment.
The govt should therefore see it as an avenue of solving unemployment, saving the nation of foreign currency thereby reducing the stress on our depreciating currency. It also will help curb the simmering conflict between the fulani pastorialists who delibrately graze into farms. The onus however is us the northeners to develop our area . If the north was a nation on its own by geographical limitation or location, I strongly believe we would have been far developed than Burkina Fasso.

No one wants to work hard any longer. Young men and girls have moved to the cities, abandaoning farming. Politicians are brain lazy and are concerned about their selfish fat stomachs. We will all continue to suffer. Agric used to account for 60% of GDP in the 1970/80s, but now it is a pity to read the statistics. What a country! And what a people! No vision, no plan, no aim! Useless leaders playing with the future of millions.
