No wonder we sit there for false preachers and corrupt politicians to dictate to us and rob us. We as a people are simply lost and highly ignorant of the dangers from the outside world. Inferior foreigners are invading our economy and taking away all the profits whilst we wallow in poverty. We've embraced stupidity by attending useless all-night prayers, useless funerals and other foolish events which are not conducive to the growth of the nation. We've deprived ourselves of common-sense by always embracing foolishness. Lack of patriotism, lack of interest in our own development have given inferior foreigners like Indians, Lebanese, Pakistans, and others leeway to invade and trample on our rights as citizens. Who and what can bring Ghanaians out of this mess? It's just too sad what we've turned into as a nation!

They give licenses to these foreigners against the law and export for them without repatriation. Now that some of these same Indians have got their own export licenses as well and PMMC is not getting the need service volumes,they are now going about crying wolves.
Private export file returns with proof of repatriation to minerals commission. PMMC because is a government agency is not policed as such. They cut their own throat and are now crying. They should keep quiet and suffer if we want to always be selfish. Liberalisation with control is good. It creates jobs. Our Banking industry and media industries are doing well because of liberalisation.
We have gone past monopoly times.
MD should learn and be innovative.

The freedom to take bribe and be corrupt to the bone is not a license to be stupid. Foreigners acquire business venture capital investment visa for Ghana via a Ghana government institution. And when those foreigners arrive in Ghana they report to immigration authorities, yet another government institution. Migrant activities are supposed to be in line with the laws of Ghana but like everything Ghana we have corrupt government officials to thank for the better treatment of foreigners in Ghana than what is meted out to Ghanaian citizens by our own security agencies. Taking the rich and influence peddling bunch to court will not do either as the Anas expose of corrupt judges tells us. So we have no one to blame but ourselves. Remember it was the NPP that went to India to play the role of a dead goat to get India to give us a loan to build the Taj Mahal looking crap we call a presidential palace not to mention all the Tata vehicles for our police that are not capable of chasing a petty criminal on a motor bike.

They should take over the cocoa industry as well.How can they not return proceeds unless they get the gold for free.Fact is someone is sleeping on the job.How did they get those fugures from indian gold exports? If we believe we are being bilked out of the gold market, it is our own fault.We borrow 1.8 billion dollars to purchase cocoa, only to export 67.2 million dollars. Where from this huge gap.PMMC has existed over the years.They can't afford to purchase gold as is the case of the COCOBOD.So i believe they are also looking up to government to borrow money for them to purchase gold.Ghana is not flourishing as a result of incompetent state regulators . The role of government is to prevent private interests from flouting business laws and not to compete with them.
