A country with no interest in manufacturing or innovation will crumble . America became great because of industrialization . China has also become great due to manufacturing . Master do not re invent the wheel you have to use internal resources to manufacture finish goods for exports . You need to engage the youth to create a work force for the country . You need to reward hard work I mean hard work . Ghana has too many holidays . Farmers holiday, bank holiday , Christian holiday , Muslim holiday , ratings holiday , Nkrumah holiday each holiday cause monitory loss to the country . My country men you just can not eat your cake and have it . Thx

I have to agree with you - manufacturing is the only way to real development. Unfortunately, we have a bunch of clueless, visionless crooks running GH. All that borrowing could have been used to achieve that.

It appears the government is lost in regards to how to manage fiscal and monetary policies to assure macroeconomics stability.How can any government use scarce and borrowed funds to build an airport at Ho? Was a project benefit analysis conducted or it is politically motivated to build an Airport project to no where. It appears that what counts for the government now is how to get voted in power in 2016 irrespective of the ways and means to get to get end.Blow up the economy and retain power. Who cares about what happens to the unfortunate underclass in Ghana? Allah karim! This is the new normal for the socalled social democrats!!
