Iy would only make it easy for sponsorship of terrorism. It would also be the source og money laundering for these Arab companies in the country. Now we are allowing a bank that works with the principle of sharia law and soon our brothers in some part of the North would soon demand for that sharia nonsense. Bank of Ghana shd be very careful because soon there would be Catholic, Pentecost bank, Ashanti bank etc.

There is Islamic banking already functioning in Nigeria. I'm not a muslim but I am saying so on authority. It is its infancy yet. The conventional banks are still the biggest in the market. Even in conservative Kano and Sokot ...

Even in conservative Kano and Sokoto where Islam is the main religion, the Islamic Bank is still in its infancy. It is based on Islamic religious principles because it won't grant funds, for example, pig farming, insurance, anything alcohol or a hotel that will allow free women patronage. There is a future for Islamic banking because of numerous bank charges and high interest charges of the pesent system of banking we operate.

If you read more on it, you will tend to appreciate and know that it will be the best thing that can ever happen to our deteriorated economy. Think deep, read deeper.
