Incompetent public officials. There are many giant Spanish finishing trawlers along Ghana's 330 mile coast line. These giant foreign trawlers are depleting the resources of this impoverished West African county. Yet public officials are quiet because of the little bribe that they receive from these criminal foreigners. Ghana is doomed. This moratorium on fishing is not at all helpful because the European vessels are on our shores doing damage and our navy is very incompetent.

It seems like the laws of Ghana are meant for foreigners to come and do what they want, while the average Ghanaian suffers. If fishing goes seasonal, what will they do for the rest of the year?
